The National Police is raising an alarm about the increase in false information circulating on social media about 2025 police results.
In an official statement signed on October 4, 2025, by Divisional Commissioner Cécile Mandeng, the General Delegation for National Security (DGSN) has warned the public about fake news being spread online regarding the 2025 police recruitment results. On Friday, October 3, a false statement claiming to be signed by the head of the National Police was shared online.
It announced through what appeared to be official channels such as the DGSN website and CRTV that the written exam results from February and March had been published. The following day, fake lists of successful candidates for the Police Inspector and Peacekeeper exams also circulated.
The DGSN has strongly denied this information, labeling it as “fake news.” It reminds the public that only official channels are authorized to publish the results at the appropriate time. Given the situation, the institution is calling on the public especially candidates and their families not to be misled by these attempts to create doubt and confusion.
It reaffirms its commitment to ensuring a transparent selection process and urges patience until reliable information is shared through its official platforms.
