Territorial Administration Minister Paul Atanga Nji On October 8, 2025, handed over 94 new vehicles to territorial administrators, a presidential donation to enhance mobility, security, and public service delivery.
Under the high authority of President Paul Biya, Minister of Territorial Administration Paul Atanga Nji presided over the official handover of 94 vehicles to Cameroon’s Senior Divisional Officers in Yaoundé on October 8, 2025. Designed to enhance mobility, security, and public service delivery during this critical election period, the ceremony at Yaoundé City Council esplanade gathered Senior Divisional Officers and Divisional Officers from across the nation.
Minister Atanga Nji highlighted that these vehicles will enable officials to reach populations more easily and improve safety in their duties. He reminded recipients that the vehicles represent state property, stating: “These tools must be well maintained – regular servicing, careful usage, and clean upkeep are mandatory.
They are not personal property but resources to serve the public better.” This support comes at a crucial moment as Cameroon prepares for its upcoming electoral processes, ensuring that administrative officials across the national territory can effectively serve and respond to the needs of local communities.
This initiative per the minister is to equip officials with adequate working tools through the governance and institutional support program of the territorial administration, particularly as the country prepares for upcoming electoral processes.
