Football: fourteen, FECAFOOT unveil new kits

The Swiss sportswear brand FOURTEEN and the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, officially unveiled the new Indomitable Lions jerseys during a ceremony in Yaoundé on Tuesday March 18.

The event which was attended by several dignitaries and football officials, marked the beginning of a new partnership between FECAFOOT and the Swiss brand. FOURTEEN replaces One All Sport as Cameroon’s official kit supplier after the previous partnership was terminated in August 2024. Following an extensive search for a new provider, FOURTEEN was introduced as the new partner on February 4, 2025.

The company emphasized that the new jerseys represent Cameroon’s rich football heritage and are designed to foster unity among fans worldwide. The brand also aims to make the national team jerseys more accessible and a source of pride for supporters. The newly unveiled collection consists of three versions of the jersey.

The authentic jersey is the official match-worn kit used by players, while the stadium jersey offers a high-quality alternative for fans. The fan jersey is an exclusive design available only in green. To ensure affordability, FECAFOOT has subsidized the jersey prices in Cameroon, setting the Fan Jersey at 15,000 FCFA, the Stadium Jersey at 30,000 FCFA, and the Pro Jersey at 47,000 FCFA. In terms of color scheme, FOURTEEN has maintained the primary colors used by One All Sport, with green, red, and white dominating the designs.

The anticipated return of the yellow jersey did not materialize, keeping the color continuity seen in previous kits. The new jerseys incorporate a design inspired by past Puma kits, featuring expressive elements unique to Cameroonian football culture. The home jersey prominently displays five stars above the FECAFOOT crest, representing the nation’s football achievements. On the right side, the lion’s head makes a return, while claw marks appear on the left.

Additionally, the ten regional capitals of Cameroon are printed on the jersey to foster a sense of national unity. The second jersey follows a similar design but includes the inscription “Lions for Life” near the collar. The third jersey, in white, introduces a distinct style shift. While the claw marks remain on both sides, the lion’s head is replaced with the Reunification Monument, a symbol of Cameroon’s historical identity.

Alongside the jerseys, FOURTEEN also presented a collection of tracksuits and supporters’ gear during the unveiling event. With the introduction of these new kits, FECAFOOT and FOURTEEN seek to blend tradition with modern design, ensuring that the Indomitable Lions continue to wear jerseys that resonate with Cameroonian football fans worldwide.
