Football: fourteen officially launches new kits today

The Indomitable Lions’ new kits will be officially unveiled today by Swiss sportswear company Fourteen at the Cameroon Football Federation , FECAFOOT, headquarters in Tsinga, marking the beginning of what is expected to be an exciting partnership.

The announcement was initially made on the official website of Fourteen. However, FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto’o surprised fans on Monday, March 17, 2025, by revealing the team’s new training jerseys on his Facebook account. Designed by Fourteen, the kits feature a modern aesthetic while maintaining Cameroon’s iconic colors. The home kit showcases a bold green design with contemporary patterns, while the away kit features a dynamic yellow and red combination.

The Indomitable Lions are currently in camp at the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé, with eight of the 26 called-up players undergoing indoor fitness training ahead of the upcoming FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Samuel Eto’o’s early reveal aims to build public excitement and reinforce his commitment to modernizing the team’s image. Cameroon will debut the new kits on March 19 against Eswatini at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa, in a crucial World Cup qualification match.

This comes after FECAFOOT’s abrupt termination of its contract with the previous sponsor, One All Sports. The Lions will then return to Yaoundé for their second qualifier against Libya on March 25.In their previous encounter, Cameroon secured a 1-1 draw against Libya. The head coach is expected to lead his first full training session with all 26 called-up players today before the team departs for South Africa.

Among the first arrivals in camp since yesterday are Danny Namaso, Nathan Goumou, Simon Ngapandouetnbu, Simon Omossola, Devis Epassy, Fai Collins, Michael Ngadeu, and Nicolas Brice Moumi Ngamaleu. Cameroon currently leads Group D of the World Cup qualifiers with four points, sharing the top spot with Cape Verde and Libya, while Angola follows with two points. Mauritius has one point, and Eswatini is yet to register any.
